SUMMARY:SWOA Biathlon - Sat Nov 4 @ 0800 hrs (8:00 AM)
DESCRIPTION:Biathlon is one of the two Discretionary Regionally Directed Activities (RDA) that Central Region has chosen to conduct this Training Year. \nThis year Biathlon will be a run and shoot (air rifle) consisting of 3x 1 km running loops and marksmanship (air rifle with Biathlon ‘pop-up’ targets) between each run. \nThe Southwestern Ontarion Area Competition is being held on Nov 4&5.  Our cadets compete on Saturday November 4th\, 083o hrs start time. \nLocation:  The Spencer / Bryson Scout Camp\, 531 Windermere Rd\, London\, Ontario \nDress:  Cadets should dress in athletic clothing\, suitable for outdoor running and activity.  Dress in layers as you may get warm while running and want to be able to remove sweater/jacket etc. \nArrival Time:  Cadets should arrive at 0800 hrs (8:00 AM) via parent drop-off \nParents are invited and welcome to stay to watch the competition (in the designated spectator area) – please dress for outdoor conditions and the weather \nPick-up Time: COURAGEOUS cadets should be finished the course by approximately 1030 hrs (10:30 AM) \nThe top 28 cadets will move on to the next level competition on Nov 25 & 26\, also a run and shoot(air rifle).
