DESCRIPTION:Tuesday September 9th (6:30 PM to 8:30 PM)\nWelcome & Welcome Back kick-off the 2025-2026 Training Year!\nReturning Cadets and Parents as well as New Cadets and Parents are encouraged to attend.\nThe evening will begin with a family-friendly Barbecue (vegetarian and vegan options will be available) by Mayday Catering who will be back to cook for us for the third year in a row!  Cadets\, parents and siblings of cadets are welcome. \nThere is no per person charge for the BBQ\, however\, cash or online donations will be gratefully accepted by the Navy League Branch to help offset the cost.  There will also be fundraising activities with chances to win! DESCRIPTION:All cadets should have brought this Sail Days letter with kit list home on Tuesday evening that was handed out. \nJune 3\, 2025 \nParents/Guardians and Cadets Our Sail Training Days at the Windsor Cadet Nautical Site are taking place on Sat June 7 and Sun June 8. \nAll cadets participating either Saturday and/or Sunday need to arrive at HMCS PREVOST at 0730 hrs (7:45 AM the bus departs) on both days. \nCadets will return to HMCS PREVOST at 1930 hrs (7:30 PM) each evening. \nWe have limited spots available so each cadet has been assigned to either Saturday or Sunday\,  please ensure they attend if possible. If you know that your cadet is not able to attend the sail weekend\, please submit our online request form or email 37sea@cadets.gc.ca. \nAll cadets participating will be working towards their Canadian Yachting Association’s CANSail level 1 and some will have the opportunity to participate in Small Craft Operator Program (SCOP) training in powerboats with staff instructors. \nCadets should eat breakfast before arriving.  Morning snacks\, juice\, water\, lunch and supper will be provided for the cadets. Cadets will be on the water most of the day. \nCadets are encouraged to check the weather forecast for the Windsor area and bring the necessary clothing to sail in as well as a warm jacket and sweatpants. \n  \nKit List for each day: \n**Cadets MUST have their OHIP (Health) Card ** \nCadets should wear comfortable cloths (trackpants\, sweatshirt\, tshirt underneath\, running shoes) and bring: \n 2 sets of clothing that cadets will sail in T-Shirt and shorts over bathing suit (these will get wet!) \n 1 pair of shoes that can get wet \n 1 pair of shoes and socks that will stay dry \n Rain gear (to sail in case of inclement weather) \n Ball cap (NOT their Corps ball cap to wear if sunny) \n Sunscreen \n Sunglasses with a head strap (optional) \n Towel \n Warm Fall/Spring jacket and warm track/sweatpants \n Plastic bag labeled with the cadet’s name to put wet clothing in \n Any required medication\, labelled with name and dose details – please advise staff upon arrival. \nReusable water bottle

DESCRIPTION:Dress: C1 (Ceremonial Dress – See Figure 6-A for example); \nIf Cadets have not been issued C1s\, they are to wear C5 (STU – Blue Workdress); or \nAppropriate Civilian Attire (preferably a White Shirt and Black Pants)\, only if you have not been issued a uniform. \nTimings: 18:15 – 21:00 (6:15-9:00 pm) \nCeremonial Divisions (CDs) will be occurring\, including an inspection of the Ship’s Company and a Commanding Officers Parade. Ensure your uniform is inspection-ready (i.e. Shirt and Pants Ironed\, Badges Sewn on\, Boots Polished\, etc.)! \nIf you have uniform questions\, contact your DPO on Teams\, or review the CJCR Dress Instructions.
