DESCRIPTION:Dress: Dependent on Weather and Uniform Availability\, See below: \n\nC5 – STUs (Ball Cap\, Postman Blue Tunic\, Black T-Shirt\, Belt\, Trouser\, Wool Socks\, Boots).\n\nCadets must wear the outer shell of the Cadet Parka (remove the inner liner). \nTimings: 9:45 AM \nWe understand this event is scheduled during a School Day\, but ask that cadets attend due to the importance of Remembrance Day as a Canadian Armed Forces-sponsored program and as Canadians. \nCadets are to meet on Dundas Street in the Delta Armouries Parking Lot (Dundas St. between Waterloo St and Wellington) \nDundas St will be closed to vehicles so please drop your cadet off as close as possible (Waterloo St. is typically open until shortly before the parade forms up) \nThe Parade will form up on Dundas Street and proceed to the Cenotaph.  A Remembrance Day Service will take place followed by the Parade Marching Off (Dufferin Ave) for dismissal. Parents are asked to meet their cadets at the parade dismissal point for pick-up (approximately 11:30 but will depend on the ceremony and wreath laying etc.). \n

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday August 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM \nWelcome Back Night to kick-off the 2024-2025 Training Year!\nReturning Cadets and Parents as well as New Cadets and Parents are encouraged to attend.\nWe will provide an overview of key activities and dates for the upcoming year\, an overview of Training\, Question/Answer and more! \nThe evening will begin with a family-friendly Barbecue (vegetarian and vegan available)\, coordinated by our partners\, the Navy League of Canada\, London Branch (Registered Charity\, volunteer committee). \nWe are thrilled to welcome back Mayday Catering for the BBQ and Shaws Ice Cream cones will be for sale with a portion of sales donated to the London Branch in support of our cadets. \nThere is no per person charge for the BBQ\, however\, cash or online donations will be gratefully accepted by the Navy League Branch to help offset the cost.  There will also be fundraising activities with chances to win! All funds donated/raised benefit our cadets through the Navy League\, London Branch. \nUniforms are not required for cadets this night. \nWe look forward to connecting with you and meeting some of you for the first time who are joining us! \nThe staff and cadets of RCSCC COURAGEOUS

DESCRIPTION:We have been invited to participate in a brief Change of Command Ceremony for HMCS PREVOST on Saturday June 8 at 7:00 PM which is the time the bus returns from the sail day in Windsor. \nSenior cadets are asked to stay behind to participate and parents are invited to attend as spectators to the Change of Command Ceremony.  All should be wrapped up by 8:00 PM. \nTo make things easier\, senior cadets (MC-CPO1) are asked to bring their C3B Uniform (Ironed\, Pressed\, and Polished) in on Tuesday June 4\, to store in our office until HMCS Prevost’s Change of Command Ceremony on Saturday. \nSunday is an early morning\, so we are not asking all cadets to participate\, just the senior cadets who are a bit older than junior cadets (for sleep and rest considerations).

DESCRIPTION:Dress: Appropriate Civilian Attire plus Kit List (TBA) \nTimings: 07:30 – 19:30 (7:30 AM – 7:30 PM) SATURDAY AND SUNDAY \nSave the Date!  Select Cadets will have the opportunity to travel to Windsor to Sail on Saturday June 8 and Sunday June 9 \nCadets will have the opportunity to earn their CANSail 1 or 2 if qualified (CNS Staff will conduct evaluation of skills required for each CANSail level). \nTransportation\, Instruction\, Sailing\, Lunch and Supper is all provided at no cost to cadets. \nCadets are to bring a refillable water bottle and MUST bring a valid OHIP Card to participate. \nBreakfast snacks and fruit juice will be provided (by our Navy League of Canada London Branch) however\, cadets are encouraged to eat breakfast before arriving if possible. \nPLEASE NOTE:  We have been invited to participate in a brief Change of Command Ceremony for HMCS PREVOST on Saturday June 8 at 7:00 PM which is the time the bus returns.  Senior cadets (PO2\, PO1\, CPO2 and CPO1) are asked to participate and parents are invited to attend as spectators to the Change of Command Ceremony.  All should be wrapped up by 8:00 PM.

DESCRIPTION:Dress: C5 – STUs (Blue Workdress) \nReminder – Nametags were issued during our ACR\, nametags are required for wear on all Orders of Dress unless specified. Nametags are worn over the right breast pocket\, centred with the pocket button (see Diagram here).  If you were not issued a nametag\, please communicate this with your Chain of Command. \nSenior Cadets are asked to bring Civilian Attire to change after the Parade for a Leadership Tasking. \nTimings: 18:15 – 21:00 \nPOOD: CPO2 Green \nWe’ll be holding a Promotions Parade\, to promote all of our eligible Cadets who have completed the required training this year! Parents and Guests are invited to attend from 18:30-19:10 for the start of our parade\, with training for Cadets continuing afterward. \nWe will also be handing out Joining Instructions (Kit List\, Important Information\, Required Forms\, etc.) for our Cadets attending Summer Training! Attendance is mandatory for all\, if you cannot make it\, please communicate this with your Chain of Command or submit a Request Form.
