SUMMARY:SWOA Biathlon - Sat Nov 4 @ 0800 hrs (8:00 AM)
DESCRIPTION:Biathlon is one of the two Discretionary Regionally Directed Activities (RDA) that Central Region has chosen to conduct this Training Year. \nThis year Biathlon will be a run and shoot (air rifle) consisting of 3x 1 km running loops and marksmanship (air rifle with Biathlon ‘pop-up’ targets) between each run. \nThe Southwestern Ontarion Area Competition is being held on Nov 4&5.  Our cadets compete on Saturday November 4th\, 083o hrs start time. \nLocation:  The Spencer / Bryson Scout Camp\, 531 Windermere Rd\, London\, Ontario \nDress:  Cadets should dress in athletic clothing\, suitable for outdoor running and activity.  Dress in layers as you may get warm while running and want to be able to remove sweater/jacket etc. \nArrival Time:  Cadets should arrive at 0800 hrs (8:00 AM) via parent drop-off \nParents are invited and welcome to stay to watch the competition (in the designated spectator area) – please dress for outdoor conditions and the weather \nPick-up Time: COURAGEOUS cadets should be finished the course by approximately 1030 hrs (10:30 AM) \nThe top 28 cadets will move on to the next level competition on Nov 25 & 26\, also a run and shoot(air rifle).

SUMMARY:London Remembrance Day Parade - Important Details in the Notes
DESCRIPTION:9:45 AM on Saturday Nov 11 – Cadets are to meet on Dundas Street in the Delta Armouries Parking Lot (Dundas St. between Waterloo St and Wellington)\nDundas St will be closed to vehicles so please drop your cadet off as close as possible (Waterloo St. is typically open until shortly before the parade forms up) \nThe Parade will form up on Dundas Street and proceed to the Cenotaph.  A Remembrance Day Service will take place followed by the Parade Marching Off (Dufferin Ave) for dismissal. \nParents are asked to meet their cadets at the parade dismissal point for pick-up (approximately 11:30 but will depend on the ceremony and wreath laying etc.) \n  \nUPDATED DRESS FOR CADETS:\nOption 1: C1 – White Top\, Black Tunic\, Lanyard\, White Dress Shirt\, Tie\, Black Cadet Gloves\, Belt\, Pants\, Wool Socks\, Boots\, Medals (if given). (See Figure 6-A for example). \nC1s are mandatory for those who have it. If you do not have C1s\, then please wear the following: \nOption 2: C5A – Cadet Toque (Not Ball Cap)\, Black T-Shirt\, Belt\, Pants\, Wool Socks\, Boots. (See Figure 6-J for example). \nAll Cadets must wear the Sea Cadet Jacket (Inner Liner preferred) and a Poppy (See Figure 4-A for Poppy Placement on Jacket).
