Friendly Reminder that Cadets have the Lambton Centre Nautical Overnight Trip this weekend (Dec. 9-10th)!

Cadets will learn Nautical and Naval terminology, Small Craft Operations and Safety, Seamanship skills and Naval Communications (with the opportunity to learn Communications Level Qualification Badges).

Senior cadets will be in Leadership roles, instructing, planning, and organizing training/activities. Junior cadets will gain valuable teamwork experience and learn many new skills. Phase 3 and Phase 4 cadets will have their first leadership experiences as cabin leaders, class leaders and as part of the Duty Watch (Petty Officer of the Day and Quartermaster roles). It’s encouraged that ALL Cadets try to make this event!

Timings & Dress:

Cadets are to arrive at 7:50 (am) on Saturday at HMCS Prevost (LHQ) for the bus leaving at 8:00 (am) in C5 (STUs – Blue Workdress) with Parkas, Toques, and Gloves. Cadets must bring their Provincial Health Card and Required Medication (with Instructions) to attend.

Cadets will return at approximately 17:00 on Sunday (5:00 pm) at HMCS Prevost.
