What is Marksmanship?

The Cadet Marksmanship Program is a challenging and competitive sports program accessible to all cadets. It develops skills through superior training and Olympic-style competitions. This fun and rewarding program is enjoyed by thousands of cadets every year. Cadets have the opportunity to participate in a series of competitions at the local level that culminate in provincial/territorial competitions and an annual National Cadet Marksmanship Championship. Cadets practice safety, accuracy, and ‘proper’ technique on a Daisy Air Rifle. Cadets attending this Sunday will also have an opportunity to progress in their marksmanship level qualification.

Why should I come to Marksmanship Practice?

Marksmanship provides transferable skills in the spirit of competition, teamwork, and self-regulation. It also becomes a fun activity cadets always look forward to!
